I very much enjoyed the finale. Though all other season's ended with sort of a finality of that day and when the season resumed it was at least a year or two later. This one ended more like they could continue into the very next day with Renee going into the interrogation and Janice being hand cuffed. I can really do without the return of Janice, JG is a terrible actress.

My dad is sick of the whole Tony good guy, no- bad guy, no- good guy routine. He may stop watching it because of that. I knew that Kim would eventually come to Jack's aid and tell the doctor to go through with this experimental procedure despite Jack's wishes. I just didn't think they would wait so long to do it. Of course it will work if the writers are going to keep Jack in the show.

Yes, deep down Renee wants to be the female Jack. I suppose she will return to be Jack's love interest and his Tony in the sense of when they were a team at CTU.
